Today, we read more about the Code of Hammurabi. The reading can be found on pages 58-62 here. You will need to rotate the document to read it.
Homework: As a part of the persuasive essay that you are writing, you are being asked to give reasons as to why the Code of Hammurabi was fair and why it was unfair. You can use this worksheet to organize your information.
The sixth grade will be taking a field trip to Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light at the Museum of Science and Industry to explore varied national cultures represented in the exhibit and further understand the intersection and interdependency between culture and art.
